Alyssa Hill, 27, Remembered After Fatal Workplace Incident At Skyline Chili On Montgomery Road In Norwood, Ohio
Alyssa Hill, 27, died after a tragic incident around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, while working at the Skyline Chili restaurant on Montgomery Road in Norwood, Ohio.
Emergency crews took Hill to a nearby hospital, where care teams worked to save them, but Hill later died from their injuries.
Hill was a parent of two young children, and family, friends, co-workers, and community members now mourn a deeply painful loss.
Authorities took 37-year-old Rick Wright into custody shortly after the incident, and investigators said Hill and Wright had previously been in a relationship.
During a Wednesday, June 3, 2026, court appearance, a judge ordered Wright held without bond ahead of a detention hearing scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026.
Sarah McMahon of the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office remembered Hill as a parent, child, co-worker, and friend whose passing has caused deep grief.
